Endowment for Youth Committee

Get Involved

It takes more than a village to raise our youth.

Contact EYC and see how you can help the youth in our community — with your time, your talents or your support.

Ways to Help

Find your place at EYC

Volunteer at an event

Help at the Tournament of Champions (March), the Black Achievement Awards (March) or our Black History Month celebration (February).

Serve on a committee

Join our Finance, Education, Events or Fundraising committee and help shape EYC’s programs.

Become a mentor or tutor

Nurturing our youth is a key goal. Share your experience as a mentor, or tutor EYC Scholars during the school year.

Become a community partner

Your businesses and organizations are an essential part of the community and vital to the development of our youth. Partners like Tri Valley Trophies, the Santa Barbara Zoo, Jeff Shelton Architect and The Training Room host our summer interns.

Become a donor

Your investment in the Endowment for Youth Committee helps to change lives. Every gift supports scholarships, internships and programs for South Coast youth.

Become a board member

Put your skills and talents to good use. Be the change that you want to see in the world.

Ways to Give

Leave a lasting legacy

Invest through the Santa Barbara Foundation. The Santa Barbara Foundation is an investment vehicle for gifts that last. You can invest in EYC’s Permanent Endowed Fund at the Foundation, or establish a Field of Interest Fund that names EYC as one of its recipients in a category tied to your own mission or purpose.

Give directly to EYC. EYC also offers donors these ways to contribute:

  • Annual giving
  • Bequests
  • Gifts of securities
  • Life insurance
  • Retirement assets
  • Real estate
  • Charitable gift annuity
  • Charitable remainder unitrust
  • Charitable lead trust
